NYC CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL – Winter Harvest

The Hand Crafted Tasting Company is proud to announce its NYC Craft Beer Festival – Winter Harvest Edition, featuring Winter Craft beers at Hudson River Park’s Pier 57 Indoor Event space, at 15th Street and the Westside Highway on Saturday, November 10th, 2012.

Just like their spring tasting held at the Lexington Armory, Hand Crafted will offer two sessions, 12:30 PM-4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM-9:30 PM. There will be approximately 150 American, Winter Craft Beers from 75 breweries. Delicious snacks and food offerings designed specifically to be consumed while enjoying the tasting sessions will come from
a variety of food purveyors.

“The feedback from attendees at NYC Craft Beer Festival in March, and the Brooklyn Waterfront Craft Beer Festival in June has been outstanding. We are excited to bring
American Craft Beer brewers’ Winter Seasonals to Hudson River Park’s Pier 57. Our tastings are all about the beer (though we do have food vendors so people can fill their
stomachs with delicious things), but our focus is really on the beer. It’s really no frills. We don’t go after the Beer pong, flip cup crowd,” said Ken Tesler, Producer for Hand
Crafted Tasting Co.

During the event, leading Craft Beer experts will host intimate, 50-person, first-come, first serve, seminars, and many brewer representatives will be available at the taps to
educate the guests about their liquid offerings.

Chef Stephen Durley, and Beer Sommelier Hayley Jensen from Taproom No. 307 will host a Thanksgiving themed beer pairing to educate attendees about excellent beer choices to select for the upcoming holiday meal that falls two weeks after the Winter Harvest themed NYC Craft Beer Festival. The Chef’s offerings at he seminar will include Beer brined turkey breast with brown ale gravy, Hefeweissen stuffing, roasted
brussel sprouts with bacon and truffle salt, and Pumpkin ale pie all paired with curated Craft Beer selections.

Chris Gallant, Co-founder & General Manager of Bronx Brewery, will host a seminar on “10 Start-up Business Tips Anyone Can Use, for Any Business” that he learned starting
Bronx Brewery. Gallant worked at Heineken, and Bain Capital, and holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.

“Chris’ Seminar and start-up tips can help any entrepreneur trying to start a business, even if it’s not a brewery,” says Robert Howell, one of the promoters. “Bronx Brewery
used financial smarts, social media, and good old fashioned American hustle to put Bronx Brewery on the map, and create a business in NYC. It’s an exciting story that should serve as an inspiration to others. I am personally excited about this seminar”

Murray’s Cheese’s Craft Beer buyer, Aaron Foster, will lead a Cheese & Beer pairing Seminar, and the landmark Cheese purveyor (now carrying 200 varieties of craft beer
on their premises) will also be sampling in the event’s Connoisseurs Lounge.

There are three price levels of tickets for the NYC Craft Beer Festival – Winter Harvest: General Admission, VIP, and Connoisseur Level, and can be purchased at
NYCCraftBeerFest.com/tickets.

VIP and Connoisseur ticket holders will have an express entrance line to Hudson River Park’s Pier 57 indoor event space and can enter an hour earlier and have access to the
beer, the brewers and the food during this first hour. This is a great time to speak with some of your favorite brewer reps and avoid what is expected to be a capacity audience
later in the day. Each of Hand Crafted Co’s other NYC Craft Beer Festivals Sold Out.

“We have had sales, exceeding all expectations,” said Jasmine Wang, Dir. of Operations for Hand Crafted. “We just hope our guests who enjoyed the Armory show,
and Brooklyn Waterfront Craft Beer Festival who want to come Nov. 10th get their tickets before they sell out. Space is limited, and we will not over-sell our capacity. We are in
this for the long haul, and want the NYC Craft Beer Festival to continue to be the festival of choice for the serious, craft beer aficionado.”
