The time has come for the final chapter of the decade-long Vertical Epic series by Stone Brewing Company, and Flying Saucer in Houston will tap kegs of Stone Vertical Epic Ale 03-03-12 through 12-12-12 on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. The Vertical Epic series started on Feb. 2, 2002, with Stone Vertical Epic Ale 02-02-02 and was designed to continue with ales aged exactly one month, one day and one year later than the previous edition. Flying Saucer Houston will be the only place in the city with Vertical Epic 03-03-12 on draft.
