Organized by Cologne’s own Braustelle, this smallish, familial festival is unique in Germany, as it proudly celebrates beers *not* brewed to Reinheitsgebot standards (which is still revolutionary hereabouts, unfortunately).
In the past, notable craft brewers (in no particular order) such as Oud Beersel, Bayerischer Bahnhof, FritzAle, Freigeist, H.ertie, Revelation Cat, Alvinne, Alzeyer Volker-Bräu, Siegburger Abteibrauerei, and others have attended; the German ones are expected this year as well, and I’m sure there will be a few pleasant surprises too!
