After 2 very successful years, the Suwanee American Craft Beer Fest will begin selling tickets on Friday, February 1st at noon. The goals for the 2013 American Craft Beer Festival are simple: to celebrate the best American beers by the finest brewers from around the country and to have fun doing so.

The festival, presented by The Beer Growler, is set for 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. March 16, 2013 at Town Center Park, in the heart of Suwanee. Over 200 beers will be available for sampling. Live music and a variety of food vendors will be present to help create the festival experience.

The VIP tent sold out very early in 2012, as it is limited to just 250 attendees. The VIP experience will be catered with a special menu that will pair well with exclusive cask beers available in the VIP tent. VIP tickets are $85, with a t-shirt, tasting glass and early admission into the festival included in the ticket price.

The Home Brew contest will return, sponsored and organized by Robert Carlton of Brew Depot. The contest was a hit in 2012, with the maximum number of entries (200) being filled early. The competition is open to all beer categories and will be judged per BJCP guidelines. Winners of each category and best of show will be announced during the festival.

A portion of the event proceeds will again be donated to Kingdom Kids to help grant wishes for children facing difficult circumstances. For more information on Kingdom Kids, please visit www.supportkingdomkids.com.

This event is expected to sell out. Tickets may be purchased beginning February 1st at noon at www.suwaneebeerfest.com, at The Beer Growler Suwanee, Mellow Mushroom in Town Center, or at one of two Beverage Superstore locations in Suwanee. If the event does not sell out, tickets will be available the day of the event for $45. Ticket price includes a glass for the afternoon of beer tasting.
