Mikkeller Yeast Series 2.0 Draft Night at ChurchKey!
Join us at ChurchKey this coming Tuesday, May 14th as we feature all 4 of Mikkeller’s newest Yeast Series Ales on draft! This is the second installment of the Yeast Series Project, fittingly called 2.0, and will be our second time hosting such a feature; we showcased the original iteration back on July 12th of 2010!
Beginning at 6 pm, we will feature all 4 of the brews in both 4 oz. tasting sizes and full glasses. Admission is free of course.
Like the original Yeast Series (and like Mikkeller’s Single Hop Series), all 4 beers are virtually identical, with one key difference: each is fermented with a different yeast strain and at different fermentation temperatures! The base beer this time around is a 6.4% pale brew with moderate hoppiness, and all 4 beers employ the exact same water, hops, malt, mash time and mash temperature.
