*Olvisholt Lava (What?!?! A European beer at Jerry’s?!?! Well sort of. Culturally, we’d certainly consider Iceland a European country. We doubt that Bjork eats much apple pie. But let’s talk geography. Tectonically, about half of Iceland sits on the North American plate. Which makes it at least an honorary member of the North American continent. And speaking of Bjork, she seemed pretty frustrated when her Pitchfork set was cut short by Chicago summer thunderstorms, so perhaps we can help heal that wound by tapping a delicious beer from her home country. And, as if we needed more connections, our beloved DJ Grimsborg, the brains behind the film and the music for Dark Harvest, takes his name from the mountain Grimsbørg of Icelandic folklore. In other words, we like Iceland, and we’re taking it.)
