Well, it’s that time of year again…the New Brew Thursday annual anniversary party! This year, we’re keeping it local (to us and some of our friends, anyway) and having the party at Killarney’s Restaurant and Irish Pub in Riverside, California. If you have yet to visit Killarney’s, it’s a really cool spot near downtown Riverside that has a healthy selection of craft beer, a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, and a stellar staff. They’re really doing great things for the craft beer movement in the Inland Empire, and they’re long time fans of the show.

As with all of our anniversary parties, we’ll have a special NBT anniversary beer on tap, a special commemorative glass, and of course, we’ll be hosting a bottle share. Given our history with anniversary party bottle shares, it’ll probably be pretty rad, and there will be no shortage of great craft beer. We encourage everyone to bring a bottle, or 12 (hehe!) to share with your closest craft-beer-lovin’ friends.

As mentioned above, we’ll have a special anniversary beer on tap, which will be brewed by Ironfire Brewing Company in Temecula, CA. If you’ve never had their beer, it’s pretty awesome. They know their way around hops (their 51/50 IPA is currently Stephen’s favorite IPA) and have an excellent barrel aging program starting up. They’re definitely going places fast, and we’re stoked to have them brewing beer in the Inland Empire. The beer they made is kind of a dark-ish, Belgian IPA, loaded with Bravo, Chinook, and Simcoe hops. Needless to say, we’re hoping everyone enjoys it.

It’s free to attend the party, but a NBT anniversary glass will run you $6. You can pre-order one on our website ( http://bit.ly/nbtStore) and for now, they are ONLY available for pick-up at the party. They’ll also be on sale at the party, but please pre-order one, since they tend to go fast, and we want everyone to be able to get one. If there are any leftover, we’ll have them for sale to the general public for shipping, while supplies last.
