The event will take place Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Fair Park Automobile Building.

The Big Texas Beer Fest 2014 is North Texas’ third-annual 100% craftbeer inspired festival. Last year’s festival featured approximately 90 breweries. We expect this number to grow to 100+ this year. We also expect the number of beer we had, to grow along with it. This year could well push into the 350-400+ range.

The festival will continue to focus heavily on the emerging North Texas craftbeer scene, and Texas craftbeer as a whole. A number of breweries have promised us exclusive kegs, rare beers, one-offs and special firkins for this event. As with any time-sensitive product though, we simply won’t know what’s available until closer to the festival date. We will try to publish a list of beers available, a week ahead of the festival. Stay tuned for that list.

The festival will also feature plenty of food trucks and local artisanal food. Like last year, we expect to have free cheese samples will be available at a cheese sampling station, free locally roasted coffee samples, salsa samples, Kombucha or locally-made soda, and much more.

Music will be performed on the outdoor stage by 2-3 local bands which will be announced shortly.
