Bird Café to Host a Four-Course Valentine’s Day Menu

The recently opened Bird Café will host a special prix fixe, four-course Valentine’s Day menu created by Chef David McMillan. It will feature a choice of three main entrées and includes a choice of appetizer and dessert, and truffle pudding as the second course.
Menu selections include a choice from each course:
• First Course
o Lamb tartar, French butter and rye toast
o Gulf snapper with coconut and key lime ceviche
o Rabbit and Andouille gumbo
• Second Course
o New England sole almandine with sweet sherry and forbidden rice
o Crisped duck leg confit with crépinette of dried plums, caramelized onions and lentils
o G rilled bavette steak with aligot potatoes and bordelaise sauce
• Third Course
o Baked Alaska with Valrhona Dulcey white chocolate, roasted banana, salted caramel ice cream and South American rum
o Passion fruit pavlova with lemon curd and winter fruit.
