About the South East Craft Beer Fest

The South East Craft Beer Fest is a first-time event being held in Columbia, Missouri on August 23rd, 2014. Why Columbia? It’s home to a population of avid craft beer enthusiasts. With 5 craft breweries in town, over 130 bars and 300+ restaurants, the opportunity to enjoy a craft beer is readily available. Mix in the multiple colleges and universities, as well as the growing diverse population base, and this town has a taste for every region of the country.

We established the fest to celebrate craft beers currently not available in the State of Missouri, with Logboat Brewery (the fest venue) being the lone exception. With the goal to further the reach and enjoyment of craft beers we are bringing together breweries from all over the southeast region that are currently not available in Missouri.

On August 23rd you will have a chance to enjoy unlimited tastings of 44+ craft beers from 13 breweries, eat at some of the area’s best food trucks, enjoy entertainment from local headliner Cabin Sessions and visit with vendors that have embraced the craft beer culture.
