Here in the West, every big challenge always started on Main Street at High Noon. And Saturday, September 12th we’re calling out all beer lovers to come try our amazing selection of premium craft brews from Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana and Colorado! Last year’s event drew 15 brewers who brought 36 beers to be judged by the festival attendees. Six cool, bucking horse trophies were awarded in the categories of Best Pale Ale, Best Wheat, Best Porter, Best IPA, Best Seasonal and Best All Around Brewer.
This family friendly event drew over 700 participants who enjoyed great beer, a live DJ, bouncy castles, strider races, a 10K run, food vendors and funky wares, an auction & ice cream social. The 2nd Annual 2015 Sundance Beer Festival promises to be even more fun with additional brewers, dozens of beers to taste, and even more entertainment sure to appeal to the entire family.
For only $25 a custom 4oz mug is provided to each festival participant for unlimited tastes of any and all brews featured during the five hour event. Additionally, participants are the judges! So your vote for favorite beers in each of the classes, as well as your vote for overall favorite brewery, will determine the winning beers and brewers.
Non participants will not be charged and are encouraged to enjoy the vendors and all the non-drinking activities. Yes, kids are welcome free of charge, but (of course) will not be served any brews. They are free to enjoy the bouncy castle, the strider course, and face painting.
This event is open to the general public and participants will be charged $25 per person. Participants must be 21 years of age or older. As stated before, kids get in free, as well as non-participants. Drink responsibly, and always have a designated driver! Designated drivers will be served free pop and water.
