This Chicago Craft Beer Week event features new, seasonal and limited New Belgium drafts, including Pear Ginger Beer, a new Lips of Faith Series brew with notes of pear, lemon and a dash of ginger heat. This year’s blend of La Folie, the highly-rated Lips of Faith Series wood-aged sour brown ale will also be featured, plus Skinny Dip, the brewery’s annual summer seasonal. Other drafts include Slow Ride India Pale Ale, New Belgium’s newest year-round beer, and the brewery’s flagship beer, Fat Tire Amber Ale ($4-$8 each).

Chef Wally Rouse features beer-enhanced specials for the night, including options such as Fat Tire Beer Cheese Fondue, Skinny Dip-Brined Smoked Chicken Sliders and a La Folie Sourdough Pizza ($6-$12 each).

The bar provides a raffle ticket to each attendee at check-in; one lucky ticket holder wins a New Belgium cruiser bike during the 10 p.m. raffle. The tap takeover begins at 7 p.m. and there is no cover charge to attend. The bar is open from 4 p.m.-2 a.m. on May 14 and the kitchen is open until midnight.

2015 La Folie, Wood-Aged Sour Ale Limited/Lips of Faith Series, 7.0% ABV
This ale, which debuted in 1999 and is inspired by the sour reds and oud bruins of Belgium’s Flanders region, is the brewery’s original wood-conditioned beer, resting in French oak barrels for one to three years. The 2015 blend features a complex profile with notes of juicy grape and cherry with rustic tartness and woody flavors

Slow Ride, India Pale Ale (IPA), Year-Round, 4.5% ABV
Session IPA with aromas of citrus, apricot, blueberry, mango and papaya with subtle floral notes and hints of cedar. Juicy and fruity; balanced with a clean hop bitterness

Fat Tire, Amber Ale, Year-Round, 5.2% ABV
Sweet biscuity and caramel malt aromas with subtle notes of fresh fennel and green apple. Flavors of toasty malt, with subtle sweetness and slight hop bitterness
