Allagash Tap Takeover at High Noon Saloon
Details
Wicker Park’s High Noon Saloon welcomes Portland, Maine’s Allagash Brewing Company for a special beer night on Thursday, November 19. The saloon will be one of the few to pour Victor, an ale brewed with Cabernet Franc grapes, and Victoria, an ale brewed with Chardonnay grapes (the bar has secured the last barrels of Victor and Victoria allocated for Chicago). The lineup also lists limited releases such as Interlude, a Belgian-style ale aged in red wine barrels and Fluxus 2015, a strong golden ale that is brewed with local maple syrup. Two year-rounds, Allagash White, a Belgian-style wheat, and Allagash Black, a Belgian-style stout, will also be featured.
Ben Iverson from Allagash Brewing Company will be on-hand to answer beer questions, and the brewery gives away wearables and other logoed gear. The tap takeover begins at 7 p.m. and there is no cover charge to attend. Beers range from $5-$8 each.
