Fair State Mixed Culture Festival of the Funky & Sour

Join us in the Beer Garden for our first ever funky and/or sour beer festival, Mixed Culture. To celebrate this vibrant genre, we will be digging into the barrel cellar in a big way. We’ll tap into our reserves of previous batches of the Lactobac Series, break into our (very limited!) reserves of previous limited bottle runs, and most importantly, previewing seven previously unreleased barrel-aged sour beers, many done in collaboration with our friends at Oakhold Farmhouse Brewery. Speaking of which, they’ll be on site as well, pouring limited amounts of test batches of their fabulous beers we’ve brewed at FSBC.

The event is free to attend, and runs from 2pm-8pm. We’ll be doing 4oz and full pours. Limited amounts of commemorative glassware will be available for purchase. More details to come soon...

FRONTENAC - barrel-fermented sour brewed in collaboration with Fulton brewing and aged in Minnesota wine barrels
CITRA SOUR - 100% Citra hopped/dry-hopped barrel-fermented sour
BLUEBERRY LEMON - a single barrel of pale sour re-fermented with blueberry puree and fresh lemon
