August 29, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Antlers Park in downtown Colorado Springs.

Tickets are $20.00 in advance (which can be purchased online at www.oldchicagofoamfest.com), or $25.00 at the door. This entry fee gets you a taster glass and unlimited samples. Yes, you read that right... unlimited samples.

There will be live entertainment, food from Old Chicago and Rock Bottom, and "festival style" activities including crowd favorite "Corn Holing."

New this year will be a home brewer competition. Pale ale and wheats are the only two styles being accepted for this competition. Registration and additional information can be found on the website. Judging will be conducted by several local "beer celebrities" including Mike Bristol, Jason Yester, Duane Lujane, Chris Wright (author of the "The Beer Journal"), and the crew from Beer Tap TV.

Proceeds benefit the Miracle on Tejon Street (an event that feeds homeless people on Christmas day) and The Friends of Cheyenne Canon (a conservation group dedicated to preserving North Cheyenne Canon Park).
