BJ’s BEER APPRECIATION NIGHT:

THE BEERS OF CRAFT BREWERS ALLIANCE



What is Craft Brewers Alliance? CBA resulted from last year’s merger of Redhook and Widmer, two of the Northwest’s original craft brewers. CBA also has ownership in Hawaii’s Kona Brewery and Goose Island of Chicago. Next Tuesday’s Beer Appreciation Night in Brea will feature the beers of these four craft breweries. The evening will of course include their familiar flagship and newer beers while we share the history behind the success of these breweries. In addition, we were able to get our hands on some of their limited release beers that are rarely available in Southern California. These include Redhook Belgian Tripel, Widmer 8409 Double Alt and Goose Island Bourbon County Stout. Other highlights include two seasonal beers that are only just being released next week: Redhook Late Harvest Autumn Ale and Widmer OKTO. You can be sure they will be fresh!



Our special guest speaker for the evening is Ed Heethuis of Straub Distributing. Ed represents all of these beers and is very knowledgeable and passionate about them. If you have ever read Ed’s column in the Celebrator Beer News, you’ll know how passionate he is about craft beer.
