Now, I have lived and do live in a state that has one of two of these features. But no amount of Florida weisse could get me to live in a place that features all of those.

Along with Arizona, Florida is a dead to me state. No offense, Dak.

Oh snap to Dak.

I lived in Flo-Rida for 4 years and basically still do... and I have never experienced anything on your list. Oppressive heat and humidity? It was no hotter, humid, or worse than when I lived in northern IL or northern IA... except there are no miserable -50F winters with snow and ice. I donít care what people tell me, it would take an amazing job or irrefutable family discussions to get me back up north/Midwest. Otherwise, no thanks.

I was posting this article as a joke, though. A friend posted it on Facebook because the article included Publix subs.

This is a good list. FL is not that bad, had good access to some really good beers last time around.

Plus 1.

Living in Maryland with the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic ocean in close proximity hot and humid is terrible. Florida is only worse.

We have the only Caribbean island that is part of a state (Key West - please note the avatar), 50 golf courses within an hour of my house and awesome Cuban coffee. Although, I would give anything to not have to be here in August. That month is quite disgusting weather wise.

What do you have like 3 in the whole state? So 95% of the state still doesnít have them. AND you still have the backwards ass northern part of Florida.

North, Central and South Florida are very different from one another. Iíve lived in all three and it is fairly backwards (even Miami in some ways is a bit hick).

Backwards-wise though nothing in the world compares to living in Devon in SW England. Good beer, but full of absolute weirdos everywhere.
