Think Boston and Asheville are laughers.

Asheville.. the beer community that wants you to know about them so badly.

But screw Portland, never had a good beer from Oregon.

What? How is that possible?

Wait, nevermind, I looked through your ratings:
Bridgeport Hop Czar 3.9
Deschutes Hophenge 3.9
Hair of the Dog Adam 4.1

Granted you havenít had much from Oregon, but those werenít good?

Bend has come a long way, I think there are 14 breweries there now, and 3 or 4 more opening up this year. A great beer scene for sure, I was just there last weekend.

Wait. What? 14 breweries, or 4? A fabulous place, despite the blue-hairs and skiers. But seriously, 14?

Upon reflection, the writers of these articles are deliberately going for some head-up-ass controversy so they can get more page hits--and thus sell more advertising. They are successful.

Waterbury and/or Burlington, VT should be on that list.
