Single hop beers that are clearly labeled as to which hop get an exception.

Beers in different types barrels such as bourbon vs. brandy are different entries. Different brands of the same liquor (i.e. different brands of bourbon) are the same entry.
Maybe Paradox gets away with it because the are clearly labeled with the batch numbers for each barrel (although not always correct).

I was being facetious about the single hops.. but I’d argue that differences between coffees used in beers has at least as much impact on how a beer is perceived as differences in barrels from the same kind of booze. Peter didn’t put a label on this stuff, but he told (and is about to tell for batch 2) everyone what it is.

Of course it’s a new entry. The problem with entering it in 2008 was that it was not commercially available at all. Same situation as Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel and Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch One-for-One. Separate entries.

Different abv/coffee/overall recipe on the brunch correct? I much preferred the non poop one myself. Hopefully this thread gets 100+ replies and odeed posts the snoop dogg vs. east coast youtube link for good measure.

All beer belongs to Lord Gorlock.

There were two arguments going at the same time from what I can remember.
1. Not commercially available, even though Alesmith was open to the public. Something about a keg never leaving the premises.
2. Different coffee does not warrant a new entry.
I believe the admin that removed it said that he would keep the ratings should the beer return. If that is the case, I hope to see them posted again.

Didn’t Dark Lord change coffee brands at one point in time?
