So Bells Batch 11,000 is apparently called This One Goes to 11 Ale. It is an 11% imperial red/DIPA with 8 different hops or so.

Why are we still seeing these beers made: mega sticky, high alcohol, extremely bitter DIPA? After Batch 8,000; 9,000; 10,000; 25th Anniversary....arenít we due for something good?

For some reason, I didnít put it together that this was essentially "Batch 11,000" under a different name. I just thought it was a new, random special release. Still want to try it.

Yeah it is literally Batch 11,000 per the batch number on the back.

I figured, I just meant that I knew they said they were stopping the "Batch" series after ten, so I didnít think they intended to release anything special when they crossed 11,000 and I wouldíve also guessed they crossed that milestone a while ago. Here itís pretty darn pricy, too. Probably just pick up a bottle or two.

how about a 4% EKG-hopped maris otter English bitter for 12,000?

If itís fresh and doughy, Iím down. It can even be tap only. Just, when I see a beer Iíve never heard of with the Bells name, I immediately grab assuming New Glarus or Founders level of awesome. And these past letdowns are starting to form a pattern I do not like.

drinking one now. think hopslam but sweeter with more berry notes. itís not bad, but definitely not worth the $24 i was quoted for the sixer. thus i only bought 2 bottles.

Jesus Christ, $24? I picked up a sixer here in Mpls for $17.
