Hi All

A colleague of mine had a beer in Bavaria, on the outskirts of Munich near the Olympic park (he could see the Olympic stadium) that was dark, purple label with he thinks an abbot on, and the flavour tasted with aniseed and it was 7-8% ABV.

Anyone any ideas?

Every clue seems fuzzy...

Aventinus or Aventinus Eisbock

Oh yes, Alex, I had forgotten that, it could be, would be from the right bit of the world and it does have a purple label.
