Anyone know of a German beer with aniseed?

Message harrisoni P beers 25356 º places 68 º 06:56 Mon 7/2/2012 Hi All A colleague of mine had a beer in Bavaria, on the outskirts of Munich near the Olympic park (he could see the Olympic stadium) that was dark, purple label with he thinks an abbot on, and the flavour tasted with aniseed and it was 7-8% ABV. Anyone any ideas? Ta Ian
