Around Town: May/June 2012

Today’s update:

Three Floyds has changed their policy to a max of 2 cases per person per carryout.

Solemn Oath has tapped a new version of Khloros called Khlorost.. it’s infused with coffee. They currently have 3 versions on (and of course, the base Wit). They all alt to a generic listing currently.

Goose Island has tapped a new Berliner Weiss and re-tapped Breakfast - a coffee treatment of Liquid Inspiration. This version is the new version of Liquid Inspiration, I believe.. hence the ABV discrepency. 7% has falled to 5.8%.. I’m gonna just leave it as is and note the change.

Bourbon County Stout has been hitting tap accounts slowly around town.. that 2nd wave that is to be keg only is what we are seeing. Be on the lookout, though prices seem a bit crazy (10-12 dollars a 10-12 oz pour).

Reckon I may stop by Clybourn on the way home tonight...

Maybe I will see you there...

Screw You Jeppe is on at FFF... it was on for a bit at GI Mini Golf event, but I missed it there..

Similar to Eva/Scarlett I believe.. with Concord Grapes as the fruit

Maybe they’ll Farmers Market it and add fruit post secondary..

Two Brothers Moaten circa 2009... age has improved this greatly but could only go so far... at least it is not godawful brew it was when 1st released.
