More Black Friday information:http://beernews.org/2011/11/goose-island-king-henry-bottles-to-debut-on-black-friday/

$25 for King Henry, ’10 BCS & BCVS. $5 pours of King Henry as well. Bit steep, but I’ll probably pick up a couple of the King Henry, maybe an icarus or two...

I think $25 is a bit steep as well. I know they used Pappy barrels, but didn’t they only age them in there for like 8-10 months instead of the 2+ years for Rare?

Yeah, they were also second use. They’re the barrels that held Rare. Of course, it’s also a lot cheaper than rare... Sure it’s steep, but it’s also the going rate these days...

To be fair, the beer is hitting distro, right?

This is the brewpub price. Maybe it’ll be different on the market.

I like the idea of it being expensive though, at least at the brewpub. Hopefully it deters people from making the event ridiculous.

That was my hope being that the Three Sisters were available at Goose for $30 a pop. Even in distro though, I dont see prices being below $15-20.

Hoping to get to Goose tonight, but it’s not a sure thing. Will most definitely be at the Sour Bitch release.
