Will be in Asheville, NC next weekend (9/13) and am looking for some suggestions/input for a brewery tour for 2 on a Sunday afternoon.

Wicked Weed is highly recommended. It’s also really close to Burial and Green Man if you want to do a walking tour of the three.

Yep, what JT said.

Hit up both Wicked Weeds, the downstairs of the brewpub and the Funkatorium. Walk to Green Man and Burial.

If you need more, Asheville Brewing, Twin Leaf and Hi-Wire are all within that general area as well.

I also agree with JT. In addition, if you have a car and a bit of time, drive out to Sierra Nevada. The facility (which looks like a Napa Valley estate) is incredible.

My only suggestion is if you’re doing more than 1 brewery/place do Wicked Weed last. Once you’re there you won’t want to leave and they have so many beers on tap and the food is so good that you won’t.

good suggestions. if you have to pick just one place, it would be WW. But it’s hard to go wrong in that part of the town, all within easy walking distance.

During the RBWG there we took a bus trip to Oskar blues which was one of the most impressive breweries I have been to. Uber modern! Brevard, Southern Appalacian, and Sierra Nevada are the makings of a nice road trip..
