ust a reminder that the Banbury Beer Festival is on 8th (evening), 9th & 10th May this year.
I shall be there on all 3 days at some stage. 80+ Real Ales plus the Cider & Perry bar is being masterfully organised by Fin.
The second that the beer & cider list is published you will get to know, its currently in its final stages.
Banbury is easy to get to from many places by public transport, with direct links to London, Oxford & Birmingham.

It can’t that masterfully done otherwise it might outshine Merton But I’m hoping that the cider and perry lovers amongst us will be happy, I think I was asked to do it because no one else wanted to

Whilst at the Beer Festival Meeting on Monday night I was informed that this was possibly the first time ever for Brakspear Triple 7.20% in cask? I hope that I heard right, if so it will be quite sought after I’m sure.
Also looking forward to the new beer from Milton

Never did get the Brakspear triple in cask, I kept frogetting to try it and then it was gone.
The cider ran out early Saturday afternoon, it was a cracking selection and certainly attracted the girls. You know when to be in the right place Fin
All in all a great Festival, and the weather was brilliant. I left at around 8pm on the Saturday and there was still a crowd, but very little left. Great stuff.

Really pleased that the cider and perry ran out, I couldn’t do the Saturday owing to a party I had to go to, but to be honest after 7 hours on Thursday and twelve hours on my feet on Friday I was fair knackered anyhow.
My beer of the festival was I’m pleased to say one of my own selection the Gwatkin Oldfield Perry, ok it wasn’t totally my selection as I’d expected a blended Perry from Gwakin but I’m so glad we managed to get the wonderful Oldfield I gave it a 4.1 unsurprisngly it was the first one to sell out as I couldn’t keep my trap shut and everyone got on board this little beauty. You’re right Glen working on the Cider and Perry bar is a sure far way to be in constant conversation with a large number of the fairer sex
