was wondering if anyone in Vegas has any interest in starting a beer club similar to some of the wine clubs that people have in town. It would be rotating beer tastings with food pairings that floated from "member’s"(for lack of a better term) homes - idealy once a month on Friday nights, where we would set a "theme" and everyone brings food and of course beer.We would keep in contact via email to avoid repeats and to set menus and confirm number of people and the like.
I would ask though that snobbery be left at the door. I know that most of us here can get pretty adament about what is good and what is not, but this is meant to be a good time and a chance to meet and have fun with people who have a common interest. I don’t want it to become like a wine club where everything HAS to be expensive and pretentious.
