Hi all,
My group of beer buddies are coming to your great area of beer the first weekend of August. We have a decent game plan so far but any info will help. We are driving there and back so we can stock up on some treats we cannot get here in NC.
-Friday: Drive from AVL to Cincy and crash for the night(recommendations there?)
-Saturday: Stay in Chicago and hit up Goose Island, Revolution, and Hopleaf.
-Sunday: Swing by Three Floyds on the way to New Holland and maybe crash there that night. If not we will drive up to Founders but will probably save that for the next day.
-Monday: Founders (maybe Hopcat as well) and then down to Bells for the night.
- Tuesday: Swing by Jolly Pumpkin for a bit and then start heading back down.
Does anyone have anywhere they would like to recommend? We are on a pretty tight schedule and can only drive so far after the "tastings".
Thanks,
Shane
PS: Might be able to do some beer swaps or just pick up some local NC brews also.

If you are going from Bells to Jolly Pumpkin via I94, Dark Horse and Arcadia are both not too far off the beaten path. Also, around Ann Arbor, you have Arbor Brewing and Original Gravity (down US 23). If you really get adventurous, 45 minutes northwest and you are at Kuhnhenn in Warren.

And if you do make it to the Detroit area, I will be more than happy to do some in person trades for some NC beers.
