Took a while, but I finally got my Berlin Beer Travel Guide finished. Basically I just highlight my favorite bar, brewery, and bottle store in the city. Not conclusive, but hopefully itís helpful to someone.

Iíd be super curious if others have other favorites. The discussion on the German IPAs has been super helpful, and it left we really wanting to try some of these other beers. Curious what everyone thinks of the Berlin suggestions:

The Brewbaker Pils is available at ScŲnefeld airport, so thatís a easy one to take home.

Brewbaker is a definite must visit. I am just disappointed that many of the bottles show inconsistency with many presenting signs of infection while some that I had became undrinkable with just yeast mud that ruined half of the latter.
However, I have had the chance to sample many great beers from them notably their IPA.
I give the Berlin beer scene another year or two before it starts making a good name for itself.

No love for Hops & Barley? I thought they were better than Brewbaker but it was admittedly a few years ago, when Brewbaker was still at the original location.

Thumbs up for Hops&Barley - Iíd like to nominate Rollberger Privatbrauerei as my own personal favourite in Berlin though:

I also hear that Bierkombinat in Kreuzberg has good ambience but havenít tasted their Schoppe beers.

Oh and the recommendations in the guide for Berlin Bier Shop and MeisterstŁck are solid.
