Berliner Weiss with jackfruit?

I was thinking about doing a unique berliner aged on fruit. I really like the flavor of jackfruit, but I’m not sure it would do well in a light, tart beer. Has anyone ever attempted this one? If so, what were your thoughts and if not, how do you think it would work?

Sounds awesome. I hope you get the scent from the jackfruit as well.. Would be cool to drink a beer who smells like vomit ;)

It sounds exotic, but not quite exotic enough. Consider adding some dragonfruit and gooseberries!

CCB just released a Berliner with kumquats, which seems to indicate it might work...though i dont know much about these fancy fruits.

I wouldn’t say kumquats and jackfruit has anything in common. Kumquats are sour as hell, and I think they’d be great in a berliner weisse, but they taste nothing like a jackfruit. Neither do dragonfruit nor gooseberries.
