I think everybody else has covered this, but if you want a Berliner Weisse you should look around America. and if you just want sours, go to Belgium.

Nice trip: start in Berlin + Potsdam, then on to Leipzig for Gose, after that to Jena for Wöllnitzer.

Speaking of Berlin, are you going to the Biermeile? We very well will be. May make a trip from there to Rügen or someplace coastal like that afterwards, not sure yet.

Wöllnitzer is a Lichtenhainer, not a Berliner Weiße. But a delicious sour beer nonetheless!

@ Erlangernick: original plan was to do Berlin, then on to Zoiglland and from there Franken, but it became: Ebbelwoi in Frankfurt - Zoigl (10 days in Eschawo) - Franken (based in Ebern this time).
