Btw I have visited 23 though I think 6-7 before RB days so these about that many of the 23 not rated. Quite pleased with that total.

About half of my visits were pre RB days too.

once again though - Bristol is NOT in Gloucestershite! (Bath being under Zummerzet is pretty tenuous too...)

And most of it is within the geographical area contained by the Gloucershite boundaries.

Was that an amusing typo, or an intended dig at the fine county of Glos

Just for Dave U’s benefit

Land of Liberty Peace and Plenty (Chorleywood) ought to be no.1 in Hertfordshire. Only 10 mins away from me by car, landlord is a bit odd but always a great selection of UK ales in good nick.

5 for me, I disagree with the W.Mids top.

not even best in Brum...

It gets high marks from plenty of visitors. Many of the West Midlands places, particularly those in the Black Country don’t get the visits needed to post a mark.
I personally do like the Wellington.

I like both, just prefer the Craven. They have evilkeg

Tend to agree in overall terms. But the Blackmiths Arms was carrying a top notch beer range - and wider than I’ve ever seen in the Land Of Liberty - when I visited recently. The pub itself is no great shakes though.

Actually I may have been in the Gatwick Airport Spoons for 25 visits, certainly a big possibility.

I think there’s actually something a bit buggy about those "Regional Favorites" listings.

For instance, if you go to
http://www.ratebeer.com/places/england/hertfordshire/240/84/
the list is rather different to the one you get if you go to
http://www.ratebeer.com/places/states/84/

I’ve certainly been in one but I’ve no idea which one.

4, I haven’t even visited the best pub back home in West Yorkshire (no such county, but that’s another argument altogether).
