’m thinking of small local brewers like Walking Man in Stevenson, Washington and the brewery in Baker, Oregon. They don’t bottle beer so most of the country will never get to taste these products. Do you have a local brewery that is similar?

I have had beers from both and bottles from Walking man.

You actually visit the area regularly, though, and only live one state from Oregon in the first place. excited

I was gonna say Alexander, Kaggen, or Dirty Horse, but I dunno about what’s in the states that I can’t get. RB is pretty good at hooking you up if you take your time and get to know people and let them know you can hook them up in return.

Never seen a bottle from Walking man, have not had anything from Yuengling, (sp?) Bells, Green Flash, and many others from the East Coast. Even Michigan and Minnesota brews are rare out West. Shipyard brews are available. 5/8/2008 1:08:24 AM

I think the missing component here is that you need to start getting stoked about trading. Many of those beers are in my cellar right now, and I’ve had samples in the past from all of them. This is thanks to trading. I have nothing but gratitude and thanks for my RB brothers and sisters all over the world--they’ve hooked me up in ways that people I know IRL never could.
