Thanks, I need a year to work on a trip out if the country sans the wife!

London would be a great destination. There are about 40 breweries or brewpubs in the city limits. All the breweries that take visitors are easily accessible by public transportation.

Having grown up in MSP and been to Chicago, itís like, why bother with MSP? Just a mini Chicago wannabe town: flat, miserable weather, fried food. Both big cities where you CAN find good beer. If you havenít been to Portland, OTOH, which is soaked in good beer in a way un-comparable to MSP, you owe it to yourself to get out of Flatlandia.

Portland is a must do for every beer fan. I did a Vancouver/Seattle/Portland trip in 2009, and it was great! Let me know if you ever want tips on where to go if you get something planned
