My coworker really likes Belgians. His favorite beer is Delirium Tremens.
I do not like Belgians very much.
What would you recommend he try to pickup to drink at home? He would likely be going somewhere like Four Firkins.

Good suggestions so far. Not from Belgium per se, but I think Ommegang and Boulevard do a good job with the style over here in the states. Boulevard makes a nice saison (and saison with Brett), the quad is fairly solid (though not as good as St Bernardus Abt 12 or Rochefort 10) Ommegang exclusively makes belgian beers (Hennepin, Abbey, Rare Vos, Witte, Gnomgang, etc) and I can’t recall ever having anything bad from them.

Yes, Ommegang does a very good job with the Belgian styles and I really like their beers. The only hang up would be if your coworker was a purist and insisted the beer be from Belgium.
