Narragansett Beer Company planning Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout

The Narragansett Beer Company is planning to put out an Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout.

The brew is a traditional stout infused with Autocrat coffee syrup.

Coffee syrup was first marketed in the 1890s in Rhode Island. It consists of water and sugar strained through coffee grounds.

The syrup is used in Rhode Island specialties like coffee milk and coffee cabinets.

The company is planning to put the beer out in December.

No word on whether the beer will be marketed outside of Rhode Island.

I’m sure it’ll be great. Well, at least better than Newport Storm’s Coffee Milk Stout made with Autocrat. But to accomplish that, all it would have to do is not be infected.

I will try any Narragansett beer. I’m trying to rate 100 beers from every state on the East Coast.

Travlr have you had Coffee Milk and Dels Lemonade before? If you have time to not drink alcohol on next visit you should try these RI specialties prior to trying their beer derivatives if possible.
