Arcadia. They make some nice stuff but every few bottles are infected. I think they have a quality control issue.

I could name a lot of misses but no hits

Disturbingly frequent hater. I’ll +1 on the Arcadia. I had their Cereal Killer when it was on and it was fantastic. But hoppy barley wines suck eye roll

Drinking Scandinavian beers, I will stick mainly to Imperial Stouts and heavy Porters! thumbs up

Yet another vote for Weyerbacher.....I loved XIII but man XII, XI ec...were alcohol bombs with just pumped up ABVs to match the anniversary. I do love me some Heresey though but could pass on a bunch of their other brews.... 7/4/2009 1:32:41 AM

Kuhnhenn - They have some fantastic hits.

... and some barely palatable misses.

Dogfish Head. I find I either really like their stuff or really hate it. Lately, however, I’ve been liking their stuff so maybe they got the message: KAggie NEEDS quality. All the time, every time. 7/4/2009 1:57:33 AM

Again Lagunitas:

It’s either good to excellent or total gimmick garbage.

I’m not a Lagunitas-hater; If they stepped their game up a little they could be a contender.

Smuttynose. They have a few amazing beers (Baltic Porter particularly) but some others that suck serious ass. 7/4/2009 9:45:08 PM
