This schedule is excellent - so much quality. Itís a bit of shame to miss the Bull and Bladder (Bathams) and Ma Pardoes (Olde Swan) as they are both classic pubs, but there is only so much you can manage in a day.

Cotteridges Wines will undoubtedly put on a good show too.

Oh and The Wellington is currently being refurbed..... Iím not sure when itís scheduled to be completed, but if in July, itís anything like the state itís in now, it wonít be worth a visit. But donít worry, the Craven Arms is also close to New St station and well worth a visit.

Bull and Pardoes were both on the radar Dan but like weíve both stated - you can only do so much on 8 or 9 hours.

Useful to know about the Wellington, Iím sure one of the Brum crew or yourself can check it out in 3 or 4 weeks time and see how itís doing.

Anywhere so long as itís a 5 to 10 minute walk to New St is fine.

Donít know the Craven Arms. Remember the Anchor from years gone by - hows that these days? Also heard of the Post Office Vaults (and have had a pint in what it used to be called í The Royal Mail ? í from memory, many years back). £25 a bottle Westvletern anyone ?!?

I meant with the beacon, 20 blokes and a tiny serving hatch! The pub is worth it though.

19 blokes and a tiny serving hatch. I will sneak into the back room and get my drink from that serving hatch and walk back round to the rest of you, mumbling the words Ruby Mild, Ruby Mild, I love you.

What would you say is a fair price for a bottle of westy 12. I know how much it costs at source. But I know one day I am going to have to try it. But I have convinced myself it cant be as good as a Rochefort 8 or 10.
