What is their distribution like in Franconia? Does Landbierparadies carry anything from them? If so, I do not recall seeing any of their bottles last time I was there.
Are there any places where I might find their draught offerings, or is bottle format my best bet?
Thanks.

I am aware that Hutt’n sometimes carries a few things from them, by the way.

Gutmann is extremely widely distributed around here, bottled. Don’t think I’ve ever seen it draught. That Rittmayer (as opposed to the other one) is very well distribued in bottles at shops, but draught...can’t think of much aside from in Hallerndorf.

The Gutmann Brauerei, a specialist in Weizen-Bier, is located in the village of Titting, near Eichstätt, close to the border between Mittelfranken and Oberbayern... Even there are their draught beers very hard to find! Hard to imagine, that the draught stuff will be available in Nürnberg and around.

Thanks for the info. What other Gutmann bottles are readily available? I thought their weizenbock was truly divine, and thus am eager to try their other weiss beers.
Have you guys seen anything from either of these breweries at Landbierparadies? Figure I will stock up in Nurnberg if I have the chance.

Where will you be and when?
Landbierparadies is probably your best bet for a diverse range of good bottles.
Gutmann do Leichtes Weizen and Dunkles Weizen in bottles. That and the wintertime Weizenbock are about it, I think. The Dunkel is good, if you like dunkles Weizen.

Not sure yet, actually. At this point the plans are merely tentative, but the aim is to be there in Oct or early Nov.
Have you seen any of their lagers in bottle? Or are those best found at the source? Their Untergärig appears to be bottled, not sure about the helles or festbier.

Gutmann lagers? Never seen one.

There are two bottom-fermented brews (presumably) brewed by Gutmann; one is called simply "untergärig", the second called -also simply- "Spezial"… Both are(were) available at the (half-) official brewery-tap "Zum Gutmann" in the beautiful baroque town of Eichstätt!

Huh. Never heard of either. But that’s okay, it’s not in Franken, so not likely I’ll ever get there. ;) Why’s the one categorised as "Zwickl" and the other as "Hell" though?
