f there are any other ice cream enthusiasts out there, I just recently made a batch of this with a bottle of Founders Breakfast Stout I had left in my car (sad, I know).

Next time I would use half and half instead of real cream but the flavor is wickedly good. Regardless, I would recommend this recipe.

I’ve also found that cutting out the middle man and just dropping a scoop in a frosty mug of Breakfast Stout works pretty well too! Totally sober, I swear! 5/6/2008 2:09:53 PM

I spent 10 minutes scraping vanilla beans out of the pod. Totally worth it though; it really enhances the flavor. I’ll bring some tonight if you wanna try it.

Nice! I have made some with Siberian Night. I am going to try half and half next time too. Good idea.
I have also made hefeweizen sorbet with Franziskaner, got the idea Here
