Baltic Porter in May/June and Barleywine in November. And as many fresher, hoppier than Hill Farmstead/Lawsonís IPAís that I can manage to squeeze in the rest of the year.

Iíve been working on fleshing out a whole line of beers for a new brewery (on paper) so I guess this year is going to be my return to regular homebrewing so that I can bang some pilot batches out. Starting with three yeast strains (saison, english ale, and bohemian lager) and going from there. Now I just need to find the space to make this work...

As much as I love HF IPAs, there is always a worth while reason to have homebrewed hoppy beers on tap if you do them right.

With control & money being the two main factors, imo.
granted on the control bit for sure. Money...I donít know

You think it costs more dollars to brew those beers? I can do 5 gallons of a gnarly IIPA for under $50.

Havenít worked out everything, but before the summer Iíll probably brew:

* Single hop Simcoe APA for the Swedish National Home brewing Contest
* Some kind of DIPA for a big student festival in May
* Oud Bruin (half of it with cherries)
* Some kind of IRS @ 11% ABV or so. Age with bourbon oak and/or Coffee
* Bottle the cider Iíve fermented for a few months
* Something more for the National Contest

Iíve also got a leaking, 50 year old Madeira barrel that I should patch up soon. Probably going to try something out in that as well.

Brewing an APA this weekend with Nugget and Cascade hops. American 2 row with victory malt. Next batch would be something for spring. Maybe a DIIPA. Any suggestions are welcome.
