Caliente Pizza and Drafthouse

Has anybody been here recently? I know they did a few events for Pittsburgh beer week last week, but nothing I was too interested in. Always thought they might be a decent place, but nothing special. All in the sudden I have been seeing some interesting even from then on twitter, and their "upcomming keg" lineup is pretty damn awesome too. Looks like they have entered the grey market as well.

I’ve been to this place a few times. They’ve always had something I enjoyed on tap. I remember going in and having a pint of hopslam and 120 minute at different times. They sell bottles too. I wouldn’t be surprised if they get rarer bottles here and there. The food is good, pretty decent wings. I got to agree with you their upcoming keg line-up is sexy.

What makes you think they entered the " gray market"?

All the Lost abbey, bruery, and FW stuff

Someone who knows more about distro in PA would need to comment there. Philly gets Lost Abbey/ Port, Bruery and FW stuff all the time so I’d imagine those are legit unless there is some weird regional thing going on.

Ah ok I got ya. Yeah I really have no clue if that is legit or not. Cool with me though.

Its legit, what’s BS is we don’t get them here normally.

One of my favorite spots. The beer can be pretty pricey, but they’ve had Groupon deals going for awhile, so you can spend the money you save on beer. They’re tapping a firkin of Stone beer tomorrow that was brewed especially for them. They’re also tapping BCBS next Friday. Definitely recommend this spot.

I think the Stone firkin is Saturday.
