How does a cork taint? Is it bad before being used?

By a compound ubiquitous in nature called TCA. Cork taint is blown so much out of proportion these days. Once you smell that compound, trust me, you will remember it. I have tasted many a bottle of beer and wine that people claimed was corked but it was not. Contamination still occurs but nowhere to the degree that people imagine.

Whoops. Catís out of the bag.

Plenty of people doing runs for the border just for regular cantiloons.

Actually, weíre a bit ídryí right now on the Lou Pepeís, and FouíFoune I think flew of the shelves and had some issues associated with it, and I think itís all gone too. The others are available on the shelves, and we welcome any cross border shoppers. Afterall, if youíre dedicated enough to drive all the way here for it, I think you deserve some IMHO.

PS: Iím now calling this the offical Canadian smiley (<--- winter toque)
