Here’s the idea- let’s start with a few celebrities, and then list some beers (or styles) that match their personalities (along with explanations as to why you chose said beer(s), if needed). Here goes:


1. Bill Murray

2. Ke$ha

3. Benedict Cumberbatch

4. Red Fox

5. David Bazan

I will withhold my answer for the time being, as not to influence the results.

Well, I know who bill murray and red fox are so:

bill murray - miller lite

red fox - bud light

The only one I know of is Bill Murray

I’d drink Florida Weiss with all of them cause I want ten ticks in that style.

Bill Murray always plays Bill Murray in every movie he’s been in so knowing Bill Murray I’ll have to go with an old growler of any craft lager.

Obviously Ke$ha needs Kilkenny, because it’s "thick and cummy".

1. Bill Murray - Sour Saison/Farmhouse Ale brewed with Brett and possibly underwent barrel-aging.

2. Ke$ha - Iced (fractional frozen) strong pale lager brewed with dogshit, pubic hair and vodka-soaked cigarettes.

3. Benedict Cumberbatch - Who the fuck is that?

4. Red Fox - Dude, it’s spelled "Redd Foxx". But I’ll say for him a Foreign stout brewed with corn and liquorice.

5. David Bazan - Again, who the fuck is that?


I’m assuming you mean styles and just not commercially-available brews.

Here are some celebrities I enjoy and have successfully paired their personalities with beer styles:

Captain Beefheart - A beet and cranberry infused Lambic aged in Pinot noir barrel casks.

Gary Oldman - An English-style Barleywine aged in scotch barrel casks with four different yeasts strains representing his versatility as an actor.

Woody Allen - Biere de Gard. Nothing special but drinkable all the same.
