It was described in some book about old English recipes...
I tried the rosemary one; and I wish I had tried the chicken one instead :o

The reason that chicken goes so well with beer is because of the hops. The flowery, the perfumey aspect of hops. The part that makes it fruity, that brings spice to the flavor profile is the part that agrees with chicken. Pungecy, herbal qualities of herbs like sage and marjoram and oregano all go so well with a varitey of beers. You can pair a chicken dish with a lager or with an IPA (broadly) and be pretty assured that there won’t be a palate conflict unless the beer is way too bitter.

Malt goes with the potatoes.

Meh, modern chicken is.one of the most flavorless things on the planet not made by BMC. But that can be a good thing, doesnt interfere with the.lovely sweetness of hfcs
