Anyone had it? Are there any special ingredients in it?
There are only 15 ratings including mine...
The one that I just drank is definitely funky and sour. Not RR sour, but blatantly souring. I handed it to my wife without telling her what it was and she guessed funky Belgian sour. The tropical fruits they describe are definitely there as well, but gettin’ sour. I’d say I’d try another bottle, but that’s another $12 or so.
WHAT SAY YE?!

Sad part is... I think this version sounds better than what other ratings say. Reminds me of the old Guava Grove.

I just drank a bottle of it and finished it a few minutes ago. No sourness whatsoever. Bad bottle on your end. I have had one bottle that was as you described, but have also had 3 that were not like that at all over the pst 2 weeks.

I took a chance on buying some Gearys IPA that has been sitting in a cooler for years. It was open fermented, so I figured I’d take a chance. There is no fresh hop character left, but the beer is bitter citrussy with some lactic hits and lots of brettiness and is more interesting than it was hwne it first came out. Sometime we luck out. A similar thing happened to me with some Heavyweight beers years ago.

I’ll try it in a couple weeks when I’m back east and report back.
