Even in a rich football talent state, it’s very difficult for UCF to recruit top skill position talent. With all the power programs in state (And all major programs from everywhere scouring the state for talent as well - Every school in the B1G recruits Florida) it’s just plain difficult.

Godfrey is stuck in the pocket, and throwing like crap. They never have planned runs for him, so there is no threat from him anymore. Our best RB, Tay Murray, barely plays. When he does, he tears shit up. Him and Storm Johnson, next year, should kill defenses. I doubt it’ll happen, though. Our offensive line is playing like garbage. Our defensive line is getting no pressure at all. Our linebackers are slow. Coverage is soft, but I blame our coaching scheme for that. Our d-backs are good. We’ve shat the bed, and I blame most of it on coaching. I still think we have solid talent.

Offensively, I have no idea what’s going on. Who’s the OC?

If he can lay off the pipe, he’ll be your starting RB for sure, and will give you some game-breaking ability next year.

Houston may be undefeated.. but they are criminally overrated. Teams they’ve beat this year are 12-19 overall. That’s not very good at all.
