I like the hillbillies over the Zags.

In college football related news, UNC gets post season ban for 2012 and loss of 5 schollys over 3 years.

No comments on the moving the kickoffs up in college? I think it is total shite.

What is Drexel? A one seed? I would have though UCF would be a two seed. Theyíre not?

We are a three seed. Iím assuming they are a one but Iím too lazy to look. The last couple weeks of the season plus the tournament really sank our stock so I wasnít expecting a two seed.

Re the USF/Cal play-in game (I refuse to call it the first round) for a 12-seed, are we foolish to fill out our brackets this early in the week? Temple is upset-able.

Joe Iím still trying to figure out how Missou didnít get a #1. I am so sick of how they reward the ACC for having UNC/Duke in it....well until my Cuse join then I will be pulling for the ACC. As for brackets if the winner of the play in 12 seeds change your mind then you probably wouldnít pick either one to beat Temple. JMO - Shawn

Now I guess Iím rooting for LSU, because even though they are also higher seeded than Iowa.. they are hosting the Womenís BBall Tourney round.. so it would be played at Iowa again (Dayton got screwed like this too).

Whatís up, Shawn? Yeah, a lot of Mizzou fans are taking it personally, always such chips on our shoulders. But the truth is #1 or #2 makes no difference other than prestige.

The committee said we were the weakest #2 seed, so No. 8 among the NCAA "true rankings." RPI has us at #10 and Kenpom at #7. Anyone who has watched much Mizzou knows this has nothing to do with how they play, which has been stunning to watch. It has to do with the weakness of the nonconference schedule. Basically weíre being penalized for two or three extremely weak opponents, even though we beat them. Everyone knows thatís the way it works, but the reason we had to play them is because Frank Haith inherited an incomplete schedule and had to scramble to fill it.

But in the end, it makes no matter. I think this team ought to beat Michigan State, but first we have to get there.
