Last year definitely punched some holes in the patchwork that was done in 2010... I’m convinced we will be in this endless cycle until we fire O’Leary and get someone who can at least out recruit USF... Too much talent leaving the area for us to make any leeway in the state.

This thread has been around for at least 4-5 years now, in various forms. The only time there was actual good conversation was pages 1 and 2 of the original in 2007.

Otherwise, we get this:
Gumby wearing too much hair gel and gold jewelry, and continuous claims that Larry Croker... no, Randy Shannon... no, Al Golden, is going to somehow bring Miami back to relevancy.

Cheeseman trying to get everyone riled up, while his team still never wins a championship at anything.

Guyute claiming Auburn runs the cleanest program in the country.

Hopscotch managing to lose every single wager he ever puts on a game, being the worst in the pick’em year after year, and just being an overall couch-burning hillbilly.

Iowa guy, whatever his name is... oh, nobody cares about him.

SHIG chiming in every once in a while to tell us that Syracuse made him cry again.

That one guy who was here for 2 days until Notre Dame beat themselves and he cried his way home.


and finally the scholars, Beerlando and myself. The most loyal fans, of the most promising team out there. While everyone else’s team has reached their peak long ago, and they will never see it again, we still have ours to look forward to.

I can live with that.

Not cry, more like vent so I don’t break more shit around the house. Then again my team has beat USF, so my wife can’t talk shit around my house like she can about UCF. I’m stoked to see that one sided rivalry start back up in the new, but less relevant Big East next year.

We beat Marshall last year, and each of the 7 years before that. We’ll beat them again this year. If anything can be said, it is that Marshall is both of ours bitch.

Use of the transitive property is the only way to compare teams that don’t play each other.

I could live in the past and throw this out there:

WVU 36 - UCF 18
WVU 45 - UCF 20

How does it feel to root for a team that serves as Homecoming fodder for hilljacks who burn couches? I wouldn’t know, so fill me in.

... but using the transitive property is the way to go...

Last season West Virginia beat Marshall 34 - 13
Marshall beat Southern Miss 26 - 20
Southern Miss beat UCF 30 - 29

Either way, UCF = FAIL
