Georgia will reportedly lack suspended Rambo and Ogletree tomorrow in Missouri. My previously optimistic Dawg friend is now scared. Should be fun. I want some bourbon. I don’t even like bourbon.
Steve Spurrier calls it like he sees it - every time. Gettin’ Georgia early is always a good thing. Good luck!

Which it isn’t. No seriously, the payout for WVU exceeds that which would have been pulled in at Mountaineer Field, even with beer sales - after paying JMU to come and play us there. Again, the article we referenced is over 1-year-old. Ok, I just spoke to my brother-in-law (Assistant President of the WVU Alumni Association) and found out that our payout for playing JMU at FedEx field is $2.5 million with no ticket sales requirement. In contrast, on average, after paying off the visiting team, WVU ends up about $1 million in the black for home games. So, there you go. Anyway, today the Big 12 announced it’s $2.6 billion media rights deal that promises WVU $240.2 million. That’s pretty sweet considering we were paid a paltry $8-$9 million per season while in the Big East. It would take us 30 years to earn $240.2 million at the rate we were going in the Big East. Enjoy that Big East money, Jj. Well, it’s much more than UCF gets in C-USA. You’re right, the future is always bright for a program at the bottom of the food chain... even in its own media market... and coming off a bowl-less season. The Have’s (B1G, SEC, Big 12, Pac-12.. lesser extent ACC) are going to keep pulling away from everyone else in the money realm. J is stupid to think that "Big East Money" is going to get his program ahead.. All sources are pointing to us getting at least near ACC money, possibly more, which will be a goldmine for everyone in the New Big E. With more league parity every year, a huge increase in funds, better attendance because we’re not stuck playing really shitty teams every week, much better basketball, likely baseball conference championships every year,... Yes, we will be moving ahead in this talent rich state. Not stuck playing shitty teams? That’s all that is going to be in the Big East.

I already knew a lot about Texas A&M, but after College GameDay in College Station, my mind has been made up. That’s one fucked up student body and fan-base. Too militaristic and cult-like for me. Good thing they’re in the SEC instead of the Big XXII, because West Virginia fans would have little patience with weird shit like that. There would be fights aplenty in the parking lots and stands... and I’m just talking about the games in College Station. Uniforms and coordinated cheers can be plenty intimidating, but nothing will take the wind out of your sails like being pelted with C cell batteries and full bottles of beer, old women cussing at you while giving you the finger and having your team’s bus almost tipped over - while it’s still rolling - with the team still in it. The only cool tradition they ever had was the bonfire and now that’s gone.

Miami getting Sandusky’d at the half. Our D is all kinds of terrible. Our offense has no problems moving the ball but fumbles have killed us. Our QB has played well. My 6-6 prediction still looks likely. Freshman all over the place.

Ohio State seems to have one player, Braxton Miller. We’re controlling everything else, but him.

Well, it could be worse. We could be 0-2 like Auburn.

Man, I haven’t taken an old school beating like this in a while. Congrats on big win Cheese. UCF played admirably as well.

Well... We covered the spread. A few less mistakes from Bortles or a stop before the half and we would have had a whole different ball game... Oh well, I’m looking forward to seeing that Defense crushing some CUSA offenses.

We certanly didn’t look like we didn’t belong on the field. We just post to a better team. We didn’t look bad at anything, minus some dumb interceptions.
