True, and you wont hear any. But, I wasnt talking shit beforehand either. I know what my team is, I predicted this game as a loss preseason and still expect 6-6 at best. Did I expect that woodshed beating? No. I didnt realize we had the worst defense in the country, now I do.
However, you were trying to avoid how bad your team was last week by saying "a wins a win." Iowa might win 5 games this year. Maybe. Just more of the same boring old football you guys have been playing for decades. No explosive skill players to speak of, poor offensive creativity, etc. Tino
UCF played a decent game for them on the road in a hostile environment. No reason for them to hang their heads in shame.
Miss St. could turn some heads this year. They’re not gonna beat the SEC elite, but 9 wins could be a good bet.
Auburn has been a big disappointment so far. For how well they have recruited last few years, it doesnt show. Keihl Frazier makes Tino Sunseri look like Dan Marino.
WVU looks very good, could be a big year for Starnes.

No excuses this week.. Offense is.anemic, D is great despite youth. Let’s roll on. Let’s also see what Missouri does, as far.as the thread. And.you r right.. UCF deserves no shame. But the way J paints OSU is.a joke. The way he paints his own team is laughable.

’Cuse covered the spread. Unfortunately I was called into work and miss the game. With our defense only given up 40+ a game we should be setting pretty in the old Big East when conference play starts. We know most of those teams can’t score 20.

This is actually true.
Well, I don’t know. Louisville & Cincy are both looking pretty good... and I like Butch Jones.
You’ll beat Pitt, no problem... Temple, UCONN & Rutgers too. ’Cuse is pretty much on par with USF at this point. Should be a good game.

UL Monroe giving The Hogs all they can handle. Tied it up at 28 with less than a minute left.

We better beat USF, so I can have bragging rights for a long time in my house. Lots of upsets today, which screwed my fantasy picks!

The way I paint OSU?
They weren’t very good, and the environment wasn’t that hostile according to our players after the game. No matter how many people are in the stands, fans just aren’t as crazy up there as they are in the south.
The only thing that beat us on their offense was their quarterback running. He couldn’t throw worth a damn, and they had no regular running game against us, even before the RB injury. We simply refused to put somebody on the QB, and he ran free.
On offense, we moved the ball just fine. Our QB played a good game, but had a couple poor passes that their defense took advantage of, including one inside the 10.
The game was winnable. No excuses, really. They beat us because of their quarterback’s legs, and timely interceptions.
I still think we have a good team this year, but I think the Mizzou game is going to be harder than this Ohio State game. But, we are home for that game, and we usually play much better at home.

I’m going to have to change my prediction for Cheese’s dogs. Looks like, with the exception of Bama, the SEC isn’t as tough this year.
